Visit to the Frilandsmuseet in Lyngby

Join us at 11.00 on Thursday 19th August for a guided tour of the Frilandsmuseet (Open Air Museum) in Lyngby. Established in 1901 as part of the National Museum, the museum features more than 100 original buildings from rural environments dating from 1650-1950. All buildings have been moved piece by piece from their original location and spread over a vast 86 acre site.   There are rural buildings from all regions of Denmark, including many of the small and remote Danish islands like Bornholm and Læsø. It's an incredibly beautiful and atmospheric place, and should be a great trip.
