Welcome to LINK Denmark!
LINK subgroups are special-interest groups who meet on a regular basis. We are crafters. readers. golfers, lovers of gourmet food, and more! Whatever your interest, there is probably a subgroup for you. To find out more about a particular group, you can contact the group leader by email or telephone. There is a warm welcome awaiting you and this is a great way to make new friends. The subgroups are open to all members of LINK. Some have a limited number of members, but you can ask to be put on the waiting list. Through music, the class will focus on developing listening skills, improving motor skills, and introducing different forms of turn-taking. And, from week to week, the theme of the seasons will link music to the children’s wider experiences. But, most importantly, we will enjoy music together. Classes run for 45 minutes at 10am and 11am each Friday morning. The cost is 45 Kr per class, or 200 Kr for 5 classes. Places are limited so please enrol in advance.

The Saddlebag by Bahiyyih Nakhjavani

This is a tantalising tale of what befalls nine different individuals travelling the desert route between Mecca and Medina in the middle of the nineteenth century, as they encounter a mysterious saddlebag that changes each of their lives. It seems a perfectly ordinary saddlebag when the Thief steals it from a Pilgrim; but what are its contents, so precious and so powerful that they can wreak death or joy, ruin or salvation?
From the Publisher: A wonderful and bewitching story of life and death. 'Remarkable ... the story expands like the overlapping petals of a flower. The language of Nakhjavani's story is as beautiful as the scenes she describes, a litany of names and places, beliefs and deities'.
Discussion leader: Anna Kaminska

Cat-Sitters

cat

When you are on vacation, you want your cat to be in good hands, with as little stress as possible. So, let’s take care of each other's cats! Tthe cats remain in their familiar environment where, being territorial, they feel best. Members of the Cat-sitters group will come to feed and tend them there and, all being cat-owners ourselves, we know what needs to be done and how to deal with them. We can thus enjoy our vacation and we are assured that our furry friends will be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed when we return.

For other type of pets please look at the Pet-sitting group.
Contact subgroup coordinator for dates and times.
