What's Happening in February...

Coffee Call

Coffee Call is a relaxed, no RSVP required monthly visit to a café in the city or Copenhagen area. On Monday February 8 at 10.30, we will be revisiting Tante T in Vesterbro, which was a very popular venue when we visited in the summer. It is a charming and cosy tea shop (which also serves coffee!), and we look forward to seeing you there.
Address: Viktoriagade 6, 1655 Copenhagen V, tel 3210 3610, website: www.tante-t.dk

Look out for the Danish flag or LINK Newsletter on the table.

Your contact on the day will be Fiona Thomas, if you have any questions.
I’m always looking for new recommendations, so if you have a favourite café, please tell me about it.

In March we will be visiting a favorite of Donna's, Cafe Phenix. A few minutes’ walk from Nørreport Station.

Hancock's Last Half Hour by Heathcote Williams.

Tony Hancock was a British comedian and actor. His radio and then TV show, Hancock’s Half Hour, started in 1955 and ran for years. He became such an iconic figure that even in 2002, BBC radio listeners voted him best British comedian.

Danes may remember a Norwegian TV show based on scripts from Hancock's Half Hour. It was called Fleksnes Fataliteter and it aired in 1972 for the first time. The show became trilingual, as it usually starred Norwegian, Swedish and Danish actors.
